It's a DEAL! The University of Augsburg joined the DEAL agreement with Elsevier in January 2024. This allows all members of the university and the university hospital to access nearly the entire portfolio of the publisher. Furthermore, they can publish in open access across all hybrid journals (incl. Cell Press and The Lancet). The fees are covered centrally by the university. Additionally, the established DEAL agreements with Wiley and Springer Nature have been renewed, ensuring seamless access and publication opportunities.
