Special Libraries (1910 – 1996) was a journal published by the Special Libraries Association (SLA), a nonprofit organization that represents librarians and information professionals who work in business, government, academic, legal, medical, and other specialized environments in more than 60 countries. Special Libraries contains articles and columns on issues such as cataloging and indexing, information about SLA activities and initiatives, book reviews, and general information about the library and information profession.
